This course will introduce students to the main ideas behind machine learning. This includes both the theoretical underpinnings of and the practical tools used to implement machine learning algorithms. The course will be self-contained. Note that, while the course does not have any math or programming prerequisites, the course will include programming exercises and will discuss a number of mathematical ideas.
